As a writer, you surely would want to be able to identify topics that your target audience will go crazy about, right? Well, I am writing this article to make the whole process a lot easier and a lot quicker for you. Here's how you can choose the best topics for your articles:
1. First, go to forums and blogs that are usually visited by your prospective readers. Spend an hour or two reading threads to determine the common issues that they raise. List down their questions, their problems, the things that they find intriguing, etc.
2. Conduct a survey. Go back to forums and blogs and conduct a poll to know which of the topics that you listed are really popular or sought by the majority. Doing this is like hitting two birds with one stone; you'll be able to determine the best topics for your articles and you'll also be able to personally connect with your prospective readers.
3. Choose your topics. Of course, go with topics that came up as the most popular among your target audience. Research the topics thoroughly and strive to give your readers with in-depth, complete information. If possible, squeeze in some of your trade secrets and insider tips. These will help in easily convincing your audience that you're truly an expert in your chosen niche.
4. Promote your articles. Once you're done writing and publishing your articles, go back to forums and tell your target audience that you've create an article that will address their needs and demands. Then, give them the link.
